beatboxing flute super mario brothers theme

I think the title of the video says it all. This is Jake posting the video (so that you don't think Cindy is the one that is totally lame for posting it). I saw this on youtube and...well...words just can't describe it.

I figure that it's my turn to post something, and this is the first thing that came to mind. Enjoy the video and I hope it brings back memories for all!

Our Angel of Hope

i wasn't sure if i wanted to post these pictures or share any of our pain, but i think i need to. if for nothing else, i need to post this for me! you don't have to read this, or comment, just let me get this out. please don't feel like you need to comment or try to give us advise...if you do feel the need to comment, but don't know what to say, a simple happy face :) means more then you could know! knowing that people still care about us and have not forgotten our precious angel means so much to us! i don't ever want Junior to be forgotten...he is still apart of our family! he is our baby...our son...Blaine's brother!

we went to the cemetery where Junior's ashes were laid to rest. it was an experience that has no words, it was very emotional. the hospital works with a local cemetery and all the babies who have passed away before birth can be laid there at the Angel of Hope. it is a great place...a place where we can feel our angel and know he is safe. we brought him some flowers and spent some good time there...we were able to grieve and feel close to our boy at the same time! we miss you Junior...we wish you were here with us. some days are really hard without you...today is one of those days. we know we will never "get over" this, but hopefully we will find a way to get through this and maybe one day we can feel like normal people again! we love you Junior and we all miss you!

Cutest picture from cousin Aubrey!

Blaine's cousin Aubrey (who is turning 5 on monday) drew us the cutest picture EVER!!! it is a picture of Angel Junior and Angel Jenny playing together in heaven! (my sister also lost a baby at 6months pregnant)they live in arizona, so that is why there are cactus. it was so sweet of her to think of such a cute thing, so we hung it on our fridge! We love it so much! Thanks Aubrey

Silly Faces

Sometimes you just need to have a silly moment! :)

so i had a total "CINDY MOMENT" the other day! Jake and i went to the temple and as we were pulling into the parking lot, i saw a car parked with a BYU sticker. i pointed it out to jake and said "hey look....there's a mormon!" Jake said back to me, "well yeah, we are at the temple! i think all these cars are mormon!" i felt so stupid, but jake didn't make fun of me too much! :)

School and Scooter

So even though i don't really feel fun and upbeat, i want my blog to be fun and upbeat again! so here are some pictures of the things we were able to do today!

Blaine started his first day of "REAL" pre-school! his teacher is Mrs. Shirley! we were planning on having him start next year, but she is letting him start now and just finish out the school year! she is so nice!
giving the thumbs up for school!
today they made turtles!
then we went to my mom's house and found an old scooter that was his uncle rich's! he is letting us barrow it for now, since he is in idaho and it's hard to ride a scooter in snow! blaine LOVES it!
i wish i could say that we are all doing great...but this whole grieving thing is really hard! each day is just another day for us right now...just trying to pass the time and get through. who knows how long this will last and how long we will feel this way?! but some actual happy news: my sister karen is in the hospital right now getting ready to have a baby! early congrats to her, but i'm sure i will post pictures once that cutie little boy gets here! :)

Family Update...

Well, i would just like to start by saying thank you, thank you! words can not express our gratitude for how generous and wonderful everyone has been to us. thank you so much for all your kind comments on our blog, for notes, calls, text messages, visits, flowers, food but mainly for all of your love and support! we have been truly blessed with amazing family and friends! knowing that so many people care for us and have kept us in their prayers has really been touching, so thank you again!

Today was our REAL first step back into reality! both Jake and i had to go back to work (not dancing for cindy...doctor work) and Blaine went back to playgroups and karate! Jake's work was been so nice and let him have monday and tuesday off to spend time at home. we have really been able to bond and grow stronger as a family! we are doing pretty ok! Jake and i were also able to go to the temple last night which was really a neat experience for us! we have never been filled with so much joy and felt so comforted! Physically I am starting to feel some pain. all the postpartum stuff has kicked in which is not fun....especially my milk coming in....so painful! :( and i can not do any real physical stuff for 4-6 weeks, so no dancing for awhile!

Blaine has been nothing but a blessing for us! he is so strong and has helped us more than i think we have helped him! :) he was sad at first that he would not be a big brother yet, but the hospital gave us a children's book to help him with his coping. it is titled "We were going to have a baby, but we had an Angel instead!" it helped Blaine understand that Junior is now an angel and watching over us! He loves to talk about his Angel Junior! Blaine is such a light to us! Thanks again to everyone who has had Blaine over to play this week, he has loved going to so many friends houses and the park! (since Jake and i have just been shlooping around the house!)

So thanks again to everyone! we are doing well and we will survive! again, please don't feel awkward around us! we are still normal people...and we love talking to everyone! we are just taking everything one day at a time. like the saying from the movie "Meet the Robinsons,"
KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!

Sad day at the Robinson Home!

Today has been a very sad day....i am typing this now, just so i can get it all out, and maybe i won't have to repeat it so many times! Today we gave birth to a beautiful little boy at 4:45am. we found out yesterday morning that our little boy had already passed away and that we needed to do an emergency delivery. He was 5 and a half inches long and weighed just under 2 oz. We named him Junior!! Even though he was just a little guy, it was so nice to be able to spend some him with him. he had 10 perfect fingers, 10 toes and the cutest little bummy! the nurses put together a little memory box for us to take home with pictures of him and us and the ultrasounds. they also gave us a birth certificate and took little hand prints, feet prints and the cute little bummy print! the labor was not painful at all physically, but extremely draining emotionally. Lucky for us my parents live so close and they have been taking care of Blaine for us through all of this. we were only in the hospital for a day which was nice, so it's great to be home in our own bed!

we are coping with everything the best we know how....and we are really ok with everything. it will just take some time to heal! we appreciate everything that everyone has done so far...thank you thank you! and we are so grateful for all the love and support we have been receiving. We really hope people don't feel awkward around us, we really are doing ok, just don't expect us to be super talkative just yet! thanks for all your prayers, help and understanding! we love you all! Love, the Robinson Family! :) Jake, Cindy, Blaine and our Little angel Junior!

i was going through some pictures today to get ready for scrapbooking, and i came across these! this is my brother in law Mark (Carrie's husband) and it made a laugh! he has this weird fascination with mullets, so we got him one for christmas!...don't worry, it's a wig! so if you ever come across a cool mullet, let us know! :)
