Christmas DAY

Merry Christmas from the Robinsons!!  we had such a fun day!  the best part was having almost ALL my family her in AZ!  and the presents weren't too bad either!

Grandma helping cover Ty's eyes while we bring in his big present!
 DRUMS!!!  he's a natural
and Blaine got his very own set of real tools!!  he was very excited!  and the best part Jake promised to build a play house in the backyard with Blaine.  they are so excited for this father son bonding and a new clubhouse!!
Jake and i had a rule this year....only "home made" gifts!!  we could not spend money.  we had to be creative!  here was one that i made for Jake....his very own "daddy back rub shirt!"  the kids push cars on his back for a special massage
ty with his buddy uncle rich AGAIN!! jammin out!
we decided to end the night with a bonfire!!  we bundled up, sat around the fire sipping hot chocolate and watch the nativity story.  Jake bought a projector a couple months ago and we loved watching movies in the backyard on the house!  i think this might have to be a new tradition!  merry christmas!

Christmas Morning

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!  we had so much fun this christmas!!  we were able to have Rich, Rachel and Jaime stay at our house for the holidays and so they got to wait at the top of the stairs with Blaine and Ty...ready for santa!!!

SANTA CAME!!!!  and he brought me a cute Jaime Loo
Ty with his buddy uncle Rich!

BREAKFAST TIME!  jake and his T-BONE! yummm.  there was also bacon, eggs on toast, yummy orange rolls (thanks to rachel), and OJ to wash it all down!  heart attack on a table, or THE BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!??

The boys are dressed and ready for presents!  we open stockings and have breakfast, then get dressed before they can open presents!  happy day!!!

Christmas Eve

We had lots of fun Christmas eve, with all my family in town (minus Bob and his family..boo).  Ty clung to his uncle Rich...they had so much fun playing together!  ty was always asking "where uncle Rich?"

and aunt Rachel helped Blaine FINALLY make the ginger bread house!! thanks rachel!
of course in true tradition...we all got together and and acted out the nativity!
Blaine was the inn keeper! here he is saying "no room"
Ty i think was a shepherd
the kidos were all super cute and good sports for us!!
then of course we had to go home and set out carrots, cookies and EGG NOG for santa and his reindeer.  the boys don't look excited at all for santa to come!!  Merry Christmas Eve!!

Christmas Movie night

Every year since Blaine was 3 we have had a "holiday craft party"...well this year we are in a new state,  money was tight and my sister Diana started doing craft parties a couple years ago so she was already having one.  we decided to do something a little different.  we had a christmas movie night!  Blaine invited a group of friends over...we watched Arthur's Christmas, ate pop corn and had hot chocolate!  i think the kids all had a great time!
...i spy a cute little boy who is trying to hang out with his big brother and friends!  Ty just being one of the guys!

it was nice quiet time for me and jake too....i spiked the hot chocolate!  haha, just kidding it's vanilla

apparently it was so good, jake didn't want any of it to go to waste!
Thanks everyone for coming...it was a blast! we will have to do it again sometime!

Flat Paige

Blaine's cousin Paige had just finished reading the book "flat stanley" in school, so their class decided to make flat paper dolls and send them all over the world.  Paige decided to send hers to us...(in AZ of all places...wahooo)...and we had some fun with it!
Flat Paige helped us put up our christmas tree...
decorate cookies....(although i think she ate more then she helped with!)
we went for drives! Blaine always made sure she wore her seat belt
she came with us to our ward church party and even helped us make a ginger bread house.  we won an award on that house too!
we also took flat Paige to Madera Canyon to go for a little hike.  we were having fun in the leaves until a tarantula climbed on her face!  yikes
then just before sending her back to "Real Paige" we gave flat Paige a little make over!
this was such a cute idea and so much fun! in fact, Blaine got the book flat stanley from school so he could read it too!  thanks flat paige!
