Blainey rockin out

ever since Michael Jackson passed away and ever since we got the movie "This is It" Blaine has been loving MJ's music...his favorite song being BEAT IT. when ever it comes on the radio he makes this aswesome "rock out face"...lips curled and nose squished up. then he air guitars and sings at the top of his lungs. this viedo doesn't even do justice, Blaine was a little camera shy, but atleast you get a little bit of an idea!enjoy

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

HaPPy BiRTHDaY to MEEE!!....one year older and wiser too, right?! either way it was such a great day! i really just wanted to take it easy and relax which is just what i did! the day started with my FAVORITE breakfast: Waffles with strawberries and whip cream YUMMM. and Blaine provided the sweet birthday hats
and i got super beautiful flowers from my BF all the way in NY!! thanks Rae...LOVE YOU
the rest of the day was mellow...we went for a nice family walk...roamed around the mall...i took a little nappy...then we went out to dinner with the Burches to CPK! it's all about the BBQ chick salad! mmmmm. after dinner, we came back to play gamesBlainey set up pin the tail on the donkey for us!..it was all his idea and we had a blastnest we played POP goes Perfection...these games helped make me feel 7 again...instead of 27!!then feasted on some yummy cake! Thanks Rich for making me a cake!...Rich and Rachel were over too

Easter at School

Blaine has been having some fun days at school lately...one day including a fun EASTER DAY!! it started with a "mad hatter parade!" each child had to make a fun spring hat and then display it in a little fashion show parade at school. there were so many cute different hats!

Joy's Wedding and baby update

This past weekend was my good friend and (dancing buddy) Joy's wedding! it was so beautiful up on a cliff with amazing views...then we headed over to the reception where we danced our booties off....of course!

and i thought i would throw in an updated baby bump shot...24 weeks aka 6 MONTHS!!!!

here is me with the BRIDE (in the middle) Joy, and our friend Becky (left) who flew all the way in from NY!! these girls have been dancing with me for YEARS, so it was super fun to reunite!

and here is the most recent shot of our little guy. things are still going pretty well! i am still super high risk, so everyday i feel this little one moving is a blessing! and he tends to bust out his best dance moves right as i'm getting into bed...funny how that works! HI BABY!

Flower Fields

Blaine went on his FIRST big field trip for school. he was sooo excited...especially because he got to ride on a bus for the first time. the parents were not allowed to ride in the bus down so we had to drive separate, but like most of the other moms, i snuck on the bus real quick to take a quick picture! The kids have been learning is school all about spring and plants and how plants grow....so it was only appropriate that we go down to the Flower Fields in Carlsbad. it was such a beautiful day and so pretty with all the flowers in bloom!
they learned about these "wishing flowers"...they stick their finger in and make a wish!

Each child also got to plant their own sunflower!

of course it wouldn't be kindergarten cool unless you got to hold a WORM!!

he were are on a wagon ride that shows off all the fields. it was so beautiful...so many bright colors!
