Red Belt

Blaine has been working hard in Karate and is now a RED belt! Congrats Blaine! He really has been improving on his focus and respect at Karate and at home! next stop....black belt!!
my friend Allison demo-ed at the graduation yesterday and did an amazing job. she is actually over the "youth specialist team" and they do all kinds of cool tricks! maybe soon blaine can be on her team!!

Zoo Day

Last week we had a super fun zoo day...thanks Katelyn for organizing! we all went down to the Santa Ana Zoo for a couple hours of fun. too bad most of the zoo is under construction, so there were mainly only birds and monkeys, but it was still fun!

triple celebration day today!

so we are celebrating 3 fun things today:

* Father's Day

So to Jake-Happy Father's day today! we are doing our best to spoil him and make this day great! Blaine loves his daddy too much! blaine says: "i love dad because he is the best dad in the whole world. and because he helps me when i fall down the stairs...in case i fall down the stairs. my dad is soo cool because he likes to help me do lots and lots of things!" we love you

To my dad-Happy Father's day...well you're the best! i love that we live so close and i am able to come over and bug you went ever i want! i love when we would go out on daddy daughter dates and i love now when we go out to lunch or just goof around. you are so much fun to be with and i love you so much!and again to Jake- Happy Anniversary...Can you believe it's been 7 years!!! crazy. everyday is still something new with you. i love that even as we are getting older, you continue to stay such a fun kid! you and blaine are best play buddies. we sure have been through a lot together, but there is no one else in the world i would rather have by my side. you really are my best friend....you are such a great friends, husband, father and much more! i love you babe!

Day at the Spectrum

Today we had a fun day with some of our neighbor friends at the Irvine Spectrum. Blaine really has been wanting to go on the giant Ferris wheel, so we decided that today would be the day! It was so fun and i am so proud of Blaine...he didn't get scared at all. it thought it was sooo cool to be up on top! My cute neighbor Joylene on the other hand....well, she didn't think it was that great! haha! :0Evan, Noah and Blaine
up soo high! i can see my house!!!Next the kids went for a little ride on the Spectrum Train Express....chooo choooand last the kids love playing in the water fountains! nothing beats free water fountains to play in! Blaine liked the water shooting out at his "bummy!"

Preschool Graduation

I can't believe my baby graduated preschool and will be starting kindergarten in the fall! he is getting so big. on monday blaine's school had a very cute graduation ceremony...so thanks to all my family who came. all the kids looked soooo cute in their home make caps. they have all grown up so much and it has been such a fun year. it sure has gone by too fast! thanks everyone for such a great year!
and thanks of course to Ms. Shirley! she has really been so great to blaine and our whole family! blaine will really miss going to preschool and seeing all his friends and his wonderful teacher! good thing we will still get to see shirley at church!....otherwise blaine would probably be a regular visitor. we love you all! thanks for an awesome year!

Soooo, some of you (well most of you) know that i LOVE barbies and i collect them...well, i got a Patrick Dempsey doll last year and now i have my very own
SIGNED McDREAMY DOLL!!!

Thanks to Bishop Koch that actually KNOWS Patrick! His daughter Lizzie babysat for Blaine once...i was showing her my dolls...she told her dad that i had a McDreamy doll....her dad told me that he knows Patrick....bada-bing bada-boom.....he got it signed for me! Thank you, Thank you Bish Koch!! you are the BEST!! even though i would have loved to be able to meet Patrick myself and have him sign my doll....i'm not complaining! i have a SIGNED McDREAMY DOLL!!! yea

the MIDWAY

A couple weekends ago there was a father and son's outing so Jake and Blaine went down to San Diego to tour the Midway...an aircraft carrier. Blaine loved it soooo much that the following weekend when grandma and grandpa idaho were in town, he wanted to take them there...
...and my dad came too!all of my favorite boys!blaine just looks so cute with his head phones on. you listened to a tour guide on a head set. blaine is sitting on the chain to the anchor! it is huge!LET ME OUT OF HERE!!!me and my dad!

now this is my kind of mixer!!!!!...i told jake i want one for christmas! :)what a beautiful view! and before we went home, we went over that huge bridge you can see in the distance!...so high!
