CIRCUS FUN!!

We went to the circus last night with Jake's parents and had sooo much fun! blaine loved all the animals, and especially the clowns. i hadn't been to the circus since i was little, so i felt like a little kids as well! thanks for the great time!

OK, so we got these hats with the cotton candy, and we had way too much fun taking pictures! i had a hard time narrowing it down to just a couple to post!

after the show, Blaine insisted on getting a "circus treat" (because the cotton candy wasn't enough!) i think he just wanted the cute cup!

and as you can image, he fell a sleep on the way home. the show wasn't over until 10:30pm! we had such a blast and will for sure do it next year!

Circus Highlights...

For those of you who weren't able to go to the circus...here are a couple of video clips that i was able to take with my camera. we were sitting pretty high up (the highest section you can go) , so i did the best i could.

there are 7 guys motorcycling in there!!! 7!!! this was jake's favorite!

these are the elephants...so cute!

these guys were crazy...jumping from pole to pole and all over the place. they totally reminded us of the little circus bugs in BUGS LIFE MOVIE. they would pop up and yell "OPAH!"

and this was part of the finale! all in all...it was a GREAT SHOW! :)

Blaine learned this song in church and now he sings in all day around the house! we love it and think it's pretty cute! :) thanks nichole dart!

poor bob

As jake and i were walking up stairs to bed last night, we noticed this on the floor. we don't know what blaine was playing, but we have a few ideas! take a look and let us know what you think:

A. Blaine was tucking in his toys into bed and the truck were the sheets!
B. Bob is fixing the truck..it kind of looks like one of the tires is propped up!
C. Poor Bob the Builder just got run over! "Can we fix Bob?" "No we can't!"

MOMMY BRAG MOMENT!!

Blaine drew these pictures and they are just too cute, so i had to post them! he is really into robots right now, so the first picture is a robot family: (we did not help him with ANY of these pictures...he totally did them all on his own!)

and this last picture is of WALL E. he focused really hard trying to remember details of him from the movie. and blaine even wrote the name by himself, sounding out the letter! (spoiler alert: the Wall E movie wasn't that great...i was disappointed for pixar!)

YAHOO...Blaine promoted to an Orange Belt in Karate! he is still loving it. way to go kid-O!

Happy 4th of July

Hope everyone had a happy and safe fourth of July! we had a great day spending time as a family! we went to a yummy church ward breakfast in the morning...then just hung out for the rest of the day.
we walked to the park to play soccer...
and play on the playground...
then we watched fireworks from a friends backyard....these pictures didn't turn out good, but they still looked kind of cool! :)

CONGRATS Carrie and MARK!!!

So i can finally, officially announce that my sister Carrie and her hubby Mary are having a BABY!!! not only that, but they are having a GIRL!!!! we are so excited for your two! congrats...it's time for Carrie to start gainning some weight...she is still a total teeny stick at 5 months pregnant! but hey, this MIGHT be the first summer i am skinnier then her!...maybe! LOVE YOU GUYS!!!
