Picture Day

Today was PICTURE DAY for Blaine at school, so we had to practice a couple times to make sure he would get it just right!

he is now a Lil' Dragon BLACK BELT!! he has worked so hard and has learned lots of great things. we are taking a little break from Karate for now, but hope to be able to start up again soon. the Junior Program starts at age 7, so hopefully we will be back to the "chopping block"...haha get it....chopping...breaking boards....never mind.

Blaine's graduation was on Saturday and it started with me frantically trying to glue all his stars on before the ceremony. he earns different starts for different achievements, and i kept forgetting to add them to his uniform

they take off their current belts and then are re-belted with their new rank!
this is Mr. Travis...one of Blaine's favorite teachers...he has worked with Blaine from the very beginning. we will miss him!

First Day of KINDERGARTEN

Well, the day has finally come that my baby is in "big kid school!" aaaahhhhhahhhh!!!! BUT, we made it through DAY 1 of KINDERGARTEN! today was actually more of an orientation day, so it was only an hour where the kids got to meet their teacher and get to know the class room and other kids. it will actually be tomorrow that is his first BIG day of school! but Blaine is already a superstar in class and i know he will be just great! ..of course as a first time kindergarten mommy, i had to document his morning!
