Happy 4th of July

We hope everyone had a very happy 4th of July!  we spent it in IDAHO!!! it's kind of become a tradition!!  the boys love visiting Grandma and Grandpa and all their Robinson cousins/aunts and uncles!!  we always go to the local parade and enjoy some family fun time!!

 but it got a little loud! (bagpipes, sirens, etc...)

 then i introduced the Robinsons to the "whip cream game"...lets just say we were AWESOME!!

YellowStone

we decided to make a fun, quick family trip to yellowstone for a day!  it was so BEAUTIFUL!  the kids loved looking everywhere at everything, but especially loved looking for BEARS! (we didn't see any though)

 and we got to go see old faithful.  we waited about 45 minutes, but it was totally worth the wait.  so cool!

GiRLS CaMP

oh man...how on earth do you condense girls camp down into one post!  so so much fun!  i was so blessed to go to camp...for the 4th time as a leader!! but this time on the stake level.  the chickas i got to work with were amazing and of course the girls at camp are always so incredible and fun!  so here are just some highlights from such an amazingly wonderful week!

1. i got to work with these hotties!  thanks to becca aka HOT STUFF for these super rad pink shirts.

 2. a blast from last years camp past...Jen (and daughter Kambree) came all the way out from Georgia to party with us at camp!  love her!

 3. Becca being time out for 30 minutes everyday!  she was 7+ months prego, but that didn't seem to stop her!

 4. learning the super secret "whipping cream game?" which turns out om pretty good at it surprise surprise!!

 5. SPOOOOOOOOOONS!  it is NOT girls camp if you don't play spoons!!

 6. going to camp with my sister for the FIRST TIME!  we never went together as youth, so here we are now!  so much fun having her and my 2 nieces at camp!!

 7. These girls!  the young women in our ward are by far the BEST!  all of them are so awesome and have such amazing spirits and testimonies...not to mention they are all ADORABLE!!!

 8. miss Kelly!!  every year the YCLs do a spoof on the stake leaders...Kelly was my double...she totally pulled it off!  haha so cute!

 9. and of course MEETING THIS LADY!  my new partner in all things awesome-ness!  Kali is my dancing soul mate!  i am so glad i met this crazy lady...she is not only a super bundle of fun, she is super spiritual and sweet and an amazing friend.  although we did have to duke it out in some dance battles, i think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

 10. coming home to my boys and crashing on the couch!!!  i was utterly exhausted, but they were still loving on me.  i sure missed these guys!

of course there were so many other things like crafts, service projects, spiritual lessons, that i have written about in my journal, but i didn't mange to take pictures of all those things.  working with the stake was just as much for me as it was for all the girls.  i met so many great people and learned so many things.  my testimony is always strengthened after girls camp...and after i catch up on some lost sleep i will be ready to go again next year! (hopefully) xoxox

paaaartaaaaay!!

 Happy 30th Birthday to....ME!!!  my hubby and friends/sisters threw me a super rockin PAAARTAAAAY!  we wanted to do 90's theme since 80s is soooo over done, and i spend most of my teenage years in the 90's!  so we dusted off our plaid skirts and pulled out our best Britney impressions!  and YES...those are FROSTED TIPs on Jake!!

Sarah was my Britney competition....WHATEVER!!  haha, LOVE her! 

and Amber who i have known since i was 6 came up from Pheonix to surprise me! 

 my mom and Diana dug up some pics thru the ages!! i was very grateful they were kind.  i have a bad hair phase from like 10-15!  haha

and no party would be complete without a dance off!  thanks Cris Cross for helping us JUMP JUMP!!  so much fun!  thanks again everyone!

Circus School

at the beginning of this year, i put together a "bucket list" of things i wanted to do before i turned 30...since this is that magical year!!  and one of the things i wanted to do was go on a TRAPEZE!!  in my mind i really wanted to do a high flying trapeze like in the circus, so i actually found a "circus school" right here in tucson!!! when we got there i was a little disappointed to find out it wasn't high flying, swinging trapeze, but it was an ariel/pretty posing class. it was still a blast!!!

 we did ribbon silks...and tried climbing to the top! that was a lot harder than it looked!!!

 then we did trapeze bar.  we tried to pose and look graceful!!

 i was able to talk my sisters Karen and Jaime to go with me and my friend Marissa too!!

 

Marissa was definately in her happy place!!  total natural!

 Marissa and i got a little crazy on the ring, doing pair tricks.  it was super fun!

 the only bad thing was the pain afterwards...yeah, it left a mark!!  ouch!  but totally worth it!!

Holy Legos batman...

it's conference weekend, so what does that mean....besides cinnamon rolls....LEGOS!!! rather then buying a new lego for both the boys to do, we decided to sort and seperate all the legos we already had.  there were A LOT!!!!

 it took us ALLLLLLL day....but here you go....all sorted by color!  now we just need to make the sets, but that can be for another day!

piano recital

Blaine had his first Piano recital and did such a great job.  there were about 7 kids, and it was a cute little show.  we love our piano teacher!! thanks sarah
