what an exciting day....blaine got to participate in his very first pinewood derby the day before his birthday!!! the scout leaders were super nice and let blaine in on the fun even though he wasn't 8 yet....but he was close enough!

and Blaine even earned his bobcat award so we got to flip him, and pin him!!
here come the cars down the raceway...blaine in the middle lane...in the lead!!
here is blaine crossing his fingers, and arms and legs and everything else hoping to win his race
...and it must have worked because he took 3rd place! not bad for this first race!! way to go blaine (and DAD)
