every year my cute neighbor Joylene has a "tree lighting" party for all the kids. she puts a tree out in her front yard and all the kids come and make ornaments to put on the tree. then they all help decorate...it is such a fun tradition and we love being a part of it.

this year we had a special surprise for all the kids and had a SECRET VISITOR.... SaNTa. it was so amazing and the kids LOVED IT!!!!
...well, almost ALL the kids loved it. we had our CLASSIC KID MELT DOWN with santa moment!! as sad as it was, it was kind of cute!!
