DiSNeyLaND 2013

on Thursday, Grandma surprised us and took me and the kids to disneyland!! she is earning the nickname "disneyland grandma"! Jake still had to work that day, so he couldn't come, but he went to an angels game that night with my brother and his BFF "big Blaine" so he was happy about that!  

 even though it was the hottest day of the YEAR, we still had a blast!  we thought we were escaping the heat of AZ, but california was hotter than us the whole week.

 the first ride as always was buzz light year!

 and then we saw a true celeb!! WOODY!!!

 ty's favorite ride was by far Small World.  he ended up going on it 4 or 5 times.  (grandma took him over and over while Blaine and i snuck away to space mountain!)

 there was a super cool iron man display inside which was nice to escape the heat AND see a super hero!

 ty tagged along with his brother the whole time!  so cute boys

 and the both CRASHED on the way home!  we did a great job of wearing them out!

it was such a great and fun day with grandma!  thanks for always super spoiling my boys and being so fun!  the boys loved DISNEYLAND!!

Date night in LA

When i went to pick Jake up in LA after his conference, we decided to make a night of it!  i had never been to the LA temple before, so it was really neat to go there...and then grab some dinner after!  it was a perfect date night!

BeaCH DaY

On Wednesday we beat the heat by going to the BEACH!!! and of course we wanted to go to the beach anyway!  we had uncle rich, aunt rachel and little ben come with us too!

 the boys had to do some spinning on the tile before we left!  great way to start the day!

 one of the boys favorite things to do at the beach is dig a big hole!  they did a pretty great job...with the help of uncle rich.  ty could fit all the way down into it when he sat!

 we checked out the tide pool and saw a couple sea stars and fish! it was pretty cool

 and ty passed out on the way home!  we wore him out!! this is a kids that NEVER takes naps in the car! (he will only fall asleep in the car at night!)

such a perfect and beautiful day...just missing dad!

GoiNG To CaLi!!!!!

wahoooooo, we are sneaking away for a quick trip to cali!!  Jake has a conference in LA and we made him take us with him!  Blaine is missing a week of school, but it will be totally worth it!  here we come!

HaPPy BiRTHDaY TY!

Well i can't believe this cutie little stinker is already 3!  he has definately been my spice of life.  he is so spunkie and fun...he can drive me crazy one minute then be such a sweetie the next.  even after a long day i am so grateful for this little boy and the blessing he is to our family!  we love you ty face!

 he got a bat and baseball from aunt Di, and he knew just what to do with it....chase Blaine!  haha

 the hit seemed to be his new remote control car.  they were having a blast driving, making tunnels and running into walls!

and Blaine made this adorable card for ty.  it is a 3 made out of minions!  so cleaver.

Summer Time
