Idaho

last weekend, we went up to Idaho to help celebrate Jake's grandparents 60th wedding anniversary!! all they wanted was for ALL of their kids, grandkids and great grandkids to get together for dinner and a big family picture. so we headed up for the party. it was so fun to see ALL of our family (on Jake's side!) it was such a fun weekend!Blaine with his cousins Ryker and pickle Paige in "fast freddie"

First Day of School

I CAN'T BELIEVE MY BABY IS A FIRST GRADER!!!! Blaine started school and LOVES IT! he is a full time student now, starting at 7:45 and going 'til 2:05. which means we have to be up and out the door by 7:30 every morning. EARLY!!! i am adjusting to the early schedule, but it helps having Ty because most of the time i am up anyway. big brother is off to school! we will miss youof course it was raining the first day...very appropriatethey all line up for flag ceremony and announcements...where's Blaine?!
here he is in class! in the back row of course since he is the tallest!...Blaine is especially happy because his best friend from last year is in his class again this year...Pedro. he also has a friend from church in his class, Avery, and a few others from his kindergarten class. so far so good, he loves it and he has the BEST teacher! we hear that she is one of the best in the school, so i am so excited! when did my baby grow up?

Last Day of Summer

For our last day of Summer we decided to go out on the boat. my first and probably last time in the water for this year. but i'm glad i got to go at least once. it was super over cast, but there was NO ONE on the lake and the water was beautiful. in fact, the water was warmer then the air, so we had no problem jumping in...we just wanted to stay in. it was such a great day and the perfect way to end our summer.

this was also Ty's first trip on the boat...the first of many! i would say he liked it!

there seems to have been a baby boom recently....here are some of my good friends who have just had babies too! Ty will have so many great friends!...LADY FRIENDS might i add. and there will be another boom the beginning of next year. pretty much my friends who didn't have babies this summer, are having babies this winter. so fun!

Ty's Blessing Day

We were able to bless Ty in church this past week September 5th. it was a great day! Jake's parents flew in from Idaho to be here which was a lot of fun. it was really neat to watch Jake, my dad, jake's dad, my brother and some close friends bless Ty. he received a really nice blessing...it makes we so grateful for the priesthood and even more grateful that i have a husband who is a worthy priesthood holder. it was also very cool because some of our neighbors came which meant a lot to us that they would celebrate this day with us. here he is: Ty Brennen Robinson

Ty with my dad! i really wanted to somehow name Ty after my dad...so Brennen is a stretch of that. here is how i got the name Brennen....my dad's name is Kenneth Gene Brown...so i took "BR" from Brown, "ENN" from Kenneth and "EN" from Gene. like i said, it's kind of a stretch...but i did use the letters from his name and just jumbled them around.our complete new family!! FAMILY OF FOUR!

Mustache Party

For Jake's birthday he wanted to celebrate the big 3-0 in style with a MUSTACHE PARTY! i don't really know why, but Jake has a thing about mustaches. Anyway it ended up being a lot of fun. everyone who came in had to be sporting some sort of mustache...real, fake, drawn on...anything. this included women and children as well. it was fun to see what people came up with. we also made our famous HOME MADE ROOTBEER and had rootbeet floats. yumm! thanks everyone for coming and helping us celebrate this exciting birthday with Jake!
