Craftsman Nite...

On Friday Night i had my final activity as Webelos leader for my church. I have been the leader for about 2 and half, almost 3 years! WOW! for our last activity we had a father and son's "Craftsman" party! the boys and their dad's all built a stool that they were able to take home. it was really great being able to see the dads work together and bond with their boys! of course MY BOYS also got to build a stool too! Blaine has always been our "honorary scout!" Thanks to everyone who helped with this fun night!

These are my Webelos and their dads...there was only one boy who did not make it! Great work guys! :)

Bella's First bath!

SO, we gave Bella her first bath last week...and boy was that an adventure! she did not like it one bit, but at least now she is super soft and clean! :)...and her shampoo smells like pina colada, so yummy~
She is giving me the super "stink eye" here...of course i probably deserve it!...since we've had her, she has: gotten fixed, had 2 different shots for tapeworm (gross), had blood work done for internal stuff and then...i gave her a bath. needless to say, she doesn't like me a whole lot right now! poor girl
but i was able to walk away with only a few scrapes and scratches on my arms...you can't see them very well, here, but she was trying to use my arm as an escape route!

Valentine's Day

Happy LATE Valentine's Day to all!
...we ended up having a late valentines anyway due to the fact the Blaine was totally sick on saturday! so i would just like to take a minute now and tell everyone how much i love them and appreciate your friendships! i especially love my boys...Jake and Blaine. i would be nothing without you too....just some loser girl! Love you both! We ended up having an "as romantic as it gets" meal monday night Paige, big Blaine and Kameryn. our Blaine had his first candle lit dinner and asked Kameryn if she would be his valentine. it was very sweet for about 10 minutes until they started yelling at each other...awwww so sweet! already acting like a married couple! :) But it was a fun night with people we love. Blaine got an awesome "kissy lips" sucker from Grandma Idaho...KISSES TO ALL!

And don't be Jealous....but Blaine got me for Valentine's day: THE ONE AND ONLY SNUGGIE!!!! the snuggie has kind of been an on going joke in my family, so it was only appropriate that we finally get one. Blaine was sooo excited to get it for me, so according to him it is NOT a joke and the coolest thing ever!

...in all honesty, it is pretty snuggley! I'm not embarrassed to say I've been using it. next time you come over, try it out...you will like it too! :) hehehehe....

Good bye Charlie Brown

In the Most Loving Memory of my Grandpa:
Charlie Brown
October 9, 1925 - February 1, 2009
This is a picture from Grandpa's Memorial service! My grandma is sitting in front, with my Aunt Penny behind her, my DAD and Uncle Tom...and then all of my siblings and kids!

I just wanted to take a minute and write down some of my thoughts and feelings of my grandpa who passed away last sunday...Feb 1st. He had been sick for quite a while. he had a lung disease and was told a year and a half ago that he would only live for a few months, so he out lived everyone's expectations.

My grandpa was a very simple man, quite but always happy. Blaine and i were able to attend a memorial service for him last Wednesday in Arizona and the one thing that EVERYONE had to say about him was how sweet and happy he always was. never complained about any problems be had, just did what he could with a smile on his face. Another thing that become more apparent to me is how much my own dad is like my grandpa. they have so many similar qualities, and i hope that i have/will inherit some of those great qualities as well. It is also thanks to my grandpa that i am where i am today. My Grandpa was a convert to the church, and i can't even imagine what or where i would be if he wouldn't have joined the church...i have to assume that i would have NEVER BEEN BORN! If it weren't for him, my Dad would have never joined then church, therefore he would have never gone to BYU and never had met my mom. so i owe a lot to him.

i know that he is in a much better place now...he is no longer in pain or attached to machines. he is able to walk and breath and LIVE on his own. i also know that he is watching over and protecting my family. i keep having this same vision of my grandpa and Junior (and Jenny...my sister's daughter who passed away) together in heaven...i know grandpa is with him and taking care of him until we get up there! I will miss you grandpa....please take good care of my baby for me! I LOVE YOU!

She's not a girl.....

.....BUT NOW WILL NEVER BECOME A WOMAN!!!!...poor Belles.

...you like how she is giving me the "stink eye" in this picture!...
on Monday she started going through heat for the first time, and i was not about to have another "woman" in the house, so we took care of that real quick...poor girl got fixed! she has to wear the cone for a couple more days til the stitches heal, but she seems to be doing pretty well...just a little sore and limping a bit, but i don't blame her AT ALL!
**know i am becoming one of those CRAZY CAT ladies...but i just love my little girl too much! so here are some newer pictures! Jake build this cute little play box for her...don't worry you heard me right...JAKE BUILT IT, and i was very proud of him. Blaine and i put together the little decorative things.
But of course after all that hard work on the play house, where is Bella's favorite place to play.....
...in the sink! crazy kitty!
